it's been a while

damn havent had time to blog. so last couple of weeks i've been working on this gr303 project oh man what a nightmare tl1 is. i've learned more about it then i ever wanted to know lol. been staying up fairly late every day to move forward with this. want to just get it done and out of my hair. which reminds me i need to submit the ports for telepacific tag that on as something else to do today. well i'll keep it short i need to get to the office and start cracking away at my list hopefully i'll have time again today to get more done....

what a dayi login to get my email and bam of course something is wrong with one of the mysql db's getting all these crazy alerts of our systems not being able to connect to it. so i go into the colo and look at the machine and whats the screen say out of memory... what shitty software... this happened about a year ago the software had a memory leak that would just eat up the memory so i guess it's time to either get the software fixed and or give it more resources to chew up. easy solution of course would be to just add memory but we all know whats going to happen down the road. so i guess might work on actully sitting down and looking at the software to see how we can fix it up...

and now it's time for lunch .....

cant sleep

grrr this sucks i been trying to sleep since i last posted keep tossing and turning. i'm hopeing this will help me get tired. maybe i shouldnt have the tv while i'm trying to sleep specially the girls next door lol those girls are hot lol... oh well i guess this will be my last port of the night.. good night everyone.

home sweet home

woo hoo finally made it home long day. whats even better is that there was left overs yummm boy was i hungry. so it looks like the house next door has not sold yet so it looks like they are bringing in furnature to stage the house. i wounder if that will make a difference who know. personally i think they should have healed off a little bit longer before putting it on the market. i guess they will end up taking a lower bid if it goes on any longer.

so tomorrow going to try and get up bright and early and tackle all of the open issues. going to trying and finish up the port inventory for the cisco gear as well as some dsl gear. will see how far we get. lets home this weekend goes slow not as fast as the work week boy did it go fast. anyways this is good night till tomorrow.

what a day!!!

so today i made my way down to the VON show down in san jose... what a bore i dont think anything changed from last year. i guess the only good thing that did come about it was that i got to meet a couple people that i have been working with for months. it's nice to match a voice to a face... anyways enough of the bore it was all and all good not worth going to the show nothing really of great interest that i didnt already know about.

now the exciting stuff a cisco switch that was kicking my assssssssss.... thats right a customer shipped over a switch that had no ios grrrr.... and low and behold i just got a new laptop not to long ago i had my cisco pass saved on the browser dumb me i forgot it i couldnt login and download the software for the switch. anyways yes i finally dug thru my email and found the user info. loaded up the switch and setup some snmp traps show some nice little mrtg graphs and the customer is nice and happy. all in a days works.....
